Explore the available divisions below to find the format that best suits you:
🟦 Single Open
The Single Open category is the standard HYROX format, ideal for athletes looking to take on the full race as an individual.
Participants complete all 8 x 1 km runs and all 8 functional workouts alone.
Designed to be challenging yet achievable, this is the perfect option for individuals seeking a personal test of endurance, strength, and mental resilience.
🟥 Single Pro
The Single Pro division is intended for experienced and competitive athletes looking to push their limits.
This format follows the same structure as the Single Open but includes heavier weights and advanced standards at each workout station.
Ideal for those who have previously competed or are accustomed to higher-intensity functional training.
🟨 Doubles
The Doubles division allows two athletes to complete the HYROX race together as a team.
Both team members must run all 8 x 1 km runs together.
The functional workouts are shared, with the workload split between the two athletes however they choose.
Available Doubles Categories:
Men’s Doubles (2 male athletes)
Women’s Doubles (2 female athletes)
Mixed Doubles (1 male + 1 female athlete)
This format is perfect for training partners, friends, or couples who want to experience HYROX side-by-side.
🟧 Doubles Pro
The Doubles Pro division offers the same team format as the standard Doubles category, but with Pro-level weights and standards at each workout station.
Athletes run together and split the workouts, but the elevated difficulty mirrors the demands of the Single Pro division.
This is ideal for pairs who are competitive, experienced, and want to push their limits as a team.
