HYROX Physical Fitness Test (P’F’T)
The HYROX Physical Fitness Test (P’F’T) serves as an excellent indicator of your overall fitness level and provides guidance on which race division may be most suitable for you. It is important to note that there are no time limits or qualifying requirements to participate in any HYROX race division; athletes are free to register for any category they choose. The P’F’T is intended solely as a tool to help you make an informed decision about the division that best fits your current fitness capacity.
About the Physical Fitness Test
The P’F’T is conducted at hundreds of gyms each season and comprises the following workout:
1000m run (performed outdoors or on a treadmill set to a 2% incline)
50 Burpee Broad Jumps
100 Lunges
1000m Row
30 Hand Release Push-Ups
100 Wall Balls (6 kg for men / 4 kg for women)
This comprehensive test evaluates multiple aspects of fitness, including endurance, strength, and muscular endurance, providing a balanced assessment to guide your race division choice.
